This year’s NYIFT arrives at a critical time for the dynamic food industry. The pandemic-era acceleration toward clean-label, sustainable product offerings gradually shifted how food is produced, processed, and enjoyed. What’s on the Agenda?
Also known as Supplier’s Day, the annual expo combines a mix of technical sessions, an engaging expo space in the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center, and a career fair for students looking to enter the industry. Each of these NYIFT events offers value for IFT members and guests alike.
Technical Sessions 9 am – 2 pm
As always, New York’s IFT event welcomes some of the industry’s brightest thinkers. The Institute of Food Technologists has curated an exceptional line-up of speakers, including leading innovators in carbon reduction, sustainability and compliance, and consumer economics.
NYIFT Expo 2 pm – 6 pm
As one of the largest IFT expos on the calendar, the New York event is a special opportunity to connect with leading suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors. Institute of Food Technologists Scholarships 4 pm – 5:30 pm
One of IFT’s core missions is to support and develop the next generation of food and beverage professionals. New York IFT’s schedule of events includes presentations from Rutgers University students, who will address several industry challenges their generation will likely face.
